Reclaim Dentistry is Hiring a Registered Dental Hygienist Near Wheat Ridge, CO

The Opportunity

This is a very unique opportunity to work on a great team doing meaningful work in a beautiful space. We are a newer dental practice in Wheat Ridge/NW Denver looking for a second dental hygienist. This practice is 2 years in the making with a lot of excitement behind our vision. In addition to most general dentistry services, we are pioneering and implementing new techniques and treatments in airway and integrative dentistry (nutrition, inflammation, microbiome health, TMJ, pain, occlusion, airway, breathing, sleep) as well as full mouth reconstruction with implants and/or natural teeth (see www.3on6.com). We are passionate about our mission, our practice and the life-changing impact we have on our patients. We will be providing education in integrative dentistry as well as on-the-job training in oral surgery, implants and advanced dentistry of all kinds. An added perk is our office is truly a gorgeous space with lots of natural materials and light, together with all new equipment, technology and materials. Experience with all things general dentistry, holistic dentistry, digital dentistry, implants and oral surgery preferred. Experience with airway and/or ortho is a plus but certainly not necessary. Must have great interpersonal and patient communication skills, work well on a team, have organizational skills, timeliness, attention to detail, flexibility and most of all, a desire to learn and grow one’s knowledge, skills and experience.

The Job

The Schedule

  • M-Th 8-5 or some Fridays 8-1 p.m. (might alternate Mondays & Fridays, 4-day workweek)

Education, Experience and Skills Required

  • 2-3 years experience preferred

  • Current Hygiene Certificate

  • Skilled in everything general dentistry, preferably holistic treatments, oral surgery and implant experience, ortho experience not necessary but is helpful

  • Social and outgoing, personable, enjoys spending time with and getting to know patients. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal skills. Organized and professional, caring and compassionate. Strong work ethic, reliable, and committed. Team mentality, willing to help out with others including front office if needed for check out, treatment presentation, follow up with patients, collecting payment, scheduling, etc.

  • Responsible, reliable and autonomous with staying on schedule, bringing patients back, directing the patient and appointment as needed, cleaning/changing rooms over, sterilization, etc.

  • Competent with intraoral x-rays, will be trained in intraoral photography and impressions for records, will be trained in CBCT image acquisition.

  • Clinical note taking and documentation

  • Practices universal precautions and proper infection control, aseptic technique, following OSHA standards and HIPAA laws as related to safety and compliance

License/Certification

  • Current Hygiene License Required

  • BLS Certification required

  • Laser Certification desired

  • X-Ray Certification required

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • As a Dental Hygienist in our practice, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and delivering exceptional care to our valued patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.

  • Performing oral health assessments and screenings.

  • Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

  • Proficiency in performing dental cleanings, taking X-rays, and conducting oral health assessments.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
