Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager working out of Weymouth & Hingham, MA. Enjoy a fast-paced, friendly work environment, and competitive Benefits package. Salary based on experience & qualifications. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for:

• Preparation of Daily Cash Flow report, and reviewing report with Controller.
• Review Daily Charges from Sales invoices and send emails to the sales team regarding uncollected money.
• Post daily Bank Activity to GL.
• All standard Journal Entries monthly, including payroll entry.
• Bank Reconciliation.
• Monthly update of Financial spreadsheet.
• Full AR / Collections responsibilities.
• Preparation of Monthly Sales Tax filings.
• Manage AP process.
• Assist Controller with Month-End and Year-End closing processes.
• Assist controller with preparation of Yearly Budget and Business Plan.
• Other duties as assigned by Controller.
• Any related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years hands-on experience.
• Retail and inventory experience beneficial, but not a must.
• Strong knowledge and experience in financial statements and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in creating cash flow reports, journal entries, and managing overall financial operations per the Role Description details listed above.
• Excellent problem-solving and organization skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis & reporting.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
