Building Bridges, LLC/Early Intervention Birth23 is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near Wethersfield, CT

This is an in-person position, not telehealth. Unqualified candidates will not be considered.

Building Bridges, LLC is an existing Birth to Three/Early Intervention agency based out of Wethersfield, CT working with 400 families and children in Central CT. We are dedicated to providing the best care possible to those we serve: children below the age of three with developmental delays. We are currently looking for a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst to cover parts of our territory in Central CT. We are looking for a BCBA that wants to become part of a great team and provide support to the children and families of CT in their natural environments. The efforts we make have a vast impact on the growth and development of these children. BCBAs of all experience levels are welcome to apply, but you must possess a BCBA License in the State of CT and have some pediatric background. Experience working with children with autism is preferred.

Part-time/Fee-for-Service employees are compensated at an all-inclusive hourly rate of $82/hour. The following is taken into consideration: time spent for average transportation, Service Coordinator tasks, and mandatory staff meetings.

We would consider offering full-time BCBA employment, in which there is an extensive benefit package.

Building Bridges provides Birth to Three/Early Intervention services in the home environment in the following towns: Cromwell, East Hartford, East Windsor, Ellington, Enfield, Glastonbury, Hartford, Hebron, Manchester, Marlborough, New Britain, Newington, Portland, Rocky Hill, Somers, South Windsor, Suffield, Tolland, Vernon, West Hartford, Wethersfield, Windsor, Windsor Locks.

Job Type:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments to identify developmental needs and areas of concern in children.
  • Create and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results.
  • Utilize concepts and techniques to design interventions that promote positive behavior change and address challenges.
  • Establish specific behavioral goals and regularly monitor progress.
  • Gather and analyze data to see the effectiveness of behavior interventions and make adjustments when necessary.
  • Collaborate with families to understand their concerns, provide knowledge on strategies, and have them be involved in the process.
  • Work with other early intervention professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Develop crisis intervention plans for managing severe behavioral challenges, guaranteeing the safety and well-being of the child and anyone involved.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, behavior changes, and progress notes.
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in early intervention behavioral analysis.
  • Attend and participate in interdisciplinary teaming meetings to discuss and coordinate complete care for children.
  • Timely and accurate submission of necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Experience working or education in the field of pediatrics or early intervention.
  • Experience conducting behavioral assessments and implementing intervention plans.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant ABA concepts, methods, and practices.
  • Strong data collection, analysis, and interpretation skills.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to give training and support to parents, caregivers, and others in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
  • Genuine passion for working with young children to support their development and health.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, attention to detail.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and a commitment to providing excellent care.
  • Experience working with children who have autism (preferred).
