Our organization is a leading player in the cannabis industry. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic CFO to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the financial direction and integrity of our company. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, strategic financial planning, corporate finance, financial auditing, financial modelling, cash flow analysis, M&A, financial software, financial compliance, strategic planning, and managing financial risks. They will also be well-versed in federal and state financial regulations. This role demands a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the financial strategy and direction of the company, ensuring financial integrity and transparency at all times.
2. Develop and implement strategic financial plans to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
3. Manage all aspects of corporate finance, including financial auditing and financial modelling.
4. Conduct comprehensive cash flow analysis to ensure the company's financial health and stability.
5. Lead and manage M&A activities, providing expert financial advice and guidance.
6. Utilize financial software to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
7. Ensure financial compliance with all federal and state financial regulations.
8. Develop and implement strategic plans to support the company's goals and objectives.
9. Manage financial risks to protect the company's assets and maintain financial stability.
10. Work closely with other senior leaders to drive the company's overall strategy and direction.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Finance) or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is preferred.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a CFO or similar senior financial managerial role.
3. Proven experience in financial management, strategic financial planning, corporate finance, financial auditing, financial modelling, cash flow analysis, M&A, and managing financial risks.
4. Proficiency in financial software and advanced financial modelling tools.
5. Solid understanding of federal and state financial regulations.
6. Exceptional strategic planning skills, with the ability to drive financial strategy and direction.
7. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage a team and drive financial performance.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Experience in the cannabis manufacturing industry is a must!
10. Strong analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to make sound financial decisions.
