Job DescriptionThe Marketing Communications Analyst is responsible for planning, executing, and closing member marketing communications projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Marketing Communications Analyst will lead cross-functional teams in collaboration with the Energy Innovations team, cooperative members and various stakeholders, while using best practices to drive successful communications.
The Marketing Communications Analyst serves a key role with the Energy Innovations/Energy Services/Member Services and Communications teams in executing various campaigns, projects, and initiatives that support the member systems. They will assist in coordinating marketing activities, managing resources and schedules, ensuring the smooth implementation of program marketing plans and analyzing KPIs for the implemented programs.

Marketing Communications AnalystHiring Salary Range: $86,000-$116,000
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary outside of the posted hiring salary range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
ResponsibilitiesMarketing and Communications:
  • Manage strategic communications, planning, execution, and analysis of member marketing campaigns efforts.
  • Coordinate logistics for programs including events, promotions, and other marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with Energy Innovations and Communications teams, members and stakeholder teams to ensure seamless campaign messaging across all platforms.
Program Planning
  • Develop detailed program marketing plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Define program scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Identify and manage program dependencies and critical paths.
  • Understand and adhere to program budgets and report financial performance to management.
Content Creation
  • Support the development of marketing collateral, including copywriting and coordination with the production design team.
  • Manage communications calendars and schedules for various marketing efforts.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
Administrative Support
  • Conduct regular program meetings, including kickoff, status, and review meetings.
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and maintain project documentation.
  • Manage marketing calendars and schedules.
  • Evaluate program outcomes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Energy Services with all program development, and other teams to ensure alignment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather information and requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to achieve common goals.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
General Duties
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends, innovation and advancements in consumer products and programs, corporate communications and marketing creative industry.
  • Adhere to and demonstrate compliance with appropriate electric utility industry regulatory requirements. Attain knowledge and remain knowledgeable of development in regulations, laws, standards and best practices applicable to the functional area including, but not limited to, Standards of Conduct, Environmental, Employment Law, NERC Reliability Standards and Safety. Must be familiar with, and comply with, all aspects of Corporate Policy C-54, Compliance.

QualificationsEducation and Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Project Management certificate a plus but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, And Ability
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Strong people skills and the ability to communicate to a variety of audiences.
  • Advanced computer proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Other
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight travel.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
