Fox Creek Family Dental by Espire is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Westminster, CO

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong background in dental procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and breakdown treatment rooms
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience in assisting with dental procedures
- Knowledge of medical coding, imaging, and documentation
- Proficiency in taking vital signs
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties
- Understanding of anatomy
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
- Experience in medical coding, imaging, and documentation
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist
- Understanding of human anatomy
- Proficiency in infection control practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.80 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
