We are seeking Machine Operators with CNC experience to work at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Westfield.

Pay starts at $18.00 per hour. This is a 1st shift position (6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday) 50 hours per week / 10 hours overtime. Additional overtime may become available.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED/ Equivalent
• Prior experience with one or more of the following: CNC Lathe, CNC Milling, Surface Grinders, Band Saw
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
• Must be ITAR Compliant and able to clear Background Check and Drug Screen (Including THC)

Machine Operators are responsible for operating production equipment to manufacture assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions. As a Machine Operator, you will perform machine maintenance and repairs, inspect parts, and document findings on appropriate paperwork as needed. The Machine Operator also performs quality inspections on products in process in accordance with established procedures and reports any discrepancies to supervisor/management.

• Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
• Adheres to established policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations.
• Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, and/or personal injuries.
• Wears required protective equipment.
• Documents daily activities.
• Runs secondary operations on another machine as time allows.
• Signs off completed operations on job traveler.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
