Cortica is Hiring a Clinic Aide (FT) Near Westchester, IL
- Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms, equipment, common areas, and gym.
- Maintain center cleanliness for clients and team members by following proper safety and cleaning procedures and protocols.
- Provide equipment and supplies for therapist access.
- Assist with therapy equipment maintenance and the need for any repairs.
- Participate in the therapeutic experience of the client under the guidance of a licensed clinician as needed.
- Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures and center-specific safety guidelines.
- Support clinicians by facilitating smooth client transitions between sessions according to the schedule.
- Supervise clients while waiting for a clinician or parent as needed.
- Provide support and create a soothing environment during emergency codes.
- Assist with Front Office Administrator responsibilities such as greeting clients, answering phones, checking-in clients, collecting co-pays, scheduling appointments, preparing charts, scanning/faxing documents, and other administrative duties as needed.
- Assist with the open/close procedures for the clinic.
- Monitor center inventory and inform the Front Office Administrator or Operations Manager of any needed supplies.
- Collaborate with Front Desk Administrator to distribute mail and packages.
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks assigned by the Operations Manager or Area Director.
- Practice knowledge of HIPAA policies and guidelines while communicating client matters.
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You have completed health science-related courses, developed knowledge of anatomy/physiology, and have an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
- You are highly reliable and well-organized.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You are skilled at using software and systems including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
- In this role you are occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- In this role you must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- You preferably have knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
