The Fleet Coordinator will oversee and maintain the local fleet of vehicles. The Coordinator will work with all drivers to maintain daily logs and carry out basic maintenance tasks.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain DOT compliance for all vehicles and drivers. Manage daily vehicle inspection logs.
- Maintain spare part inventory for basic vehicle maintenance.
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance as needed. Schedule maintenance and repair work at local garages as needed.
- Perform facility maintenance and other duties as determined by supervisor.
- Mechanical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot when needed.
- Some auto mechanical repair and maintenance experience.
- Desired attributes include organizational and time management skills, strong decision making and problem solving, team player and attention to detail.
- Professional and courteous communication through phone conversations, email and text messaging.
- Ability to establish priorities systematically with focus and organization.
- Computer and Smartphone savvy.
