LHH is Hiring a Logistics Coordinator Near West Point, PA
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or Korean preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with overseas vendors despite significant time zone differences
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or International Trade preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely and efficient shipment movement
- Maintain organized records of purchase orders
- Verify accuracy of purchasing data in SAP ERP system
- Audit purchase order shipping documents and facilitate vendor payments
- Negotiate lead times, prices, and payment terms with vendors
- Foster collaborative relationships with overseas vendors and conduct annual performance assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Resolve shipment and inventory issues, such as shortages or damages
- Analyze product sales to monitor inventory trends
- Collaborate with various departments, including Quality Assurance, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, and Account Management, to support growth initiatives while managing inventory levels
- Support the Manager of Supply Chain by assisting in international suppliers' production planning and ensuring timely production adjustments as needed
- Propose process improvements and assist in their implementation
- Ensure all provided services meet quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Supply Chain
- Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm)
