Responsible for recording daily financial transactions, updating general ledger activities, and maintaining accurate records for forming the financial statements. Ensure that the general ledger and other critical records are maintained in accordance with the applicable accounting policy and procedures.

1. Demonstrate developmental, communicative, and motivational interactive skills at varying organizational levels.

2. Demonstrates the ability to develop, present, implement, and maintain meaningful and effective programs.

3. Complete data entry and collect transaction details for incoming and outgoing bank transactions.

4. Use fund accounting software, spreadsheets, and other databases to post up-to-date financial transactions.

5. Maintain accurate financial schedules and records to facilitate the formation of the Financial Statements

6. Assist the Senior Accountant with the month-end closing process.

7. Assist with accounts receivable reconciliation and review.

8. Assist the Senior Accountant with interpreting accounts, records, and financial data for management.

9. Complete Payroll. Ensure that payroll goes out on time.

10. Check timesheets for accuracy.

11. Process wage garnishments and employment verifications.

12. Maintaining all payroll operations and compliance with all organization policies and procedures and state and federal regulations.

13. Resolve all payroll discrepancies and answer any employee payroll inquiries.

14. Update payroll records by entering changes to employee information or benefits.

15. Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, and non-tax wages.

16. Perform New Hire On-Boarding and Payroll Training

17. Maintain Payroll Bi-weekly, Quarterly, Annual Payroll Reports and Files

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
