We currently have an opening for a CNC plasma table operator who is responsible to perform all cutting, marking and staging of parts for the fitting and welding team.
Schedule is Monday - Thursday, 10 hours per day.Some Of The Work That You Will Do
- Uses the plasma table to accurately cut specialized parts out of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum
- Programing of plasma equipment meeting nested drawing sheets
- Troubleshooting of equipment
- Maintenance of equipment and tooling
- Verify specifications and drawings prior to cutting
- Moving materials on and off table
- Quality review of parts to include dimensional, quantity, and cut performance quality
- Marking parts with either with paint stick or plasma
- Accurately measure, read parts lists, drawings, and sketches
- Records and Tracking of Materials and Quality Documents
- Use of material handling equipment such as forklift and overhead cranes to move materials safely
- Other duties as assigned
- Anticipated Work Hours: 10 hours is considered a normal workday. Expected to arrive on time every day
- 2 years' experience CNC operation
- Fitting & Welding experience
- Use of Press Brake
- Use of Shear
- Use of Plate Roles
- Computer experience i.e. Sigma Nest, Pro Nest, AutoCAD, Two Dimensional CAD software, Microsoft Software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for up to 3 minutes at a time
- Standing - most all the time while performing duties
- Walking-carrying prepared parts 75-100 ft.
- Climbing/balancing - Occasionally
- Stooping/crawling-sometimes while handling materials
- Reaching/handling-most all the time
- Speaking/hearing-pay attention to surrounding noises
- Seeing-wearing personal safety equipment
