Salary: $45.00 USD Hourly - $50.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Electrical Engineer
This position is onsite in Thorofare, NJ - MUST be local
This is contract to hire
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate should have experience in designing Naval Ship Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems or power plant systems. Additionally, they should be proficient in the following areas:
- Supporting design projects, particularly in AutoCAD
- Applying the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Demonstrating attention to detail
- Possessing strong communication skills
- Review and incorporate customer-provided information from scoping documentation.
- Conduct site investigations in an industrial environment.
- Analyze and document the suitability of electrical designs, providing recommendations with engineering sketches to address design issues.
- Review and verify engineered drawings of electrical systems.
- Participate in design meetings with the project team and customers.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in motors/machinery controls.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
