Trinity Academy of West Chester is seeking an experienced Assistant Teacher for our Older Infant Classroom (ages 9-18 months). Candidates applying for this position should have a passion for teaching Christian curriculum.

A few of the key responsibilities for this position include:

Interact frequently, affectionately and respectfully with children

· Communicate directly with each child at child’s level

· Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate

· Encourage creative expression

· Foster positive self-concept by supporting individuality, independence and the ability to make choices.

· Maintain child-staff ratios

· Assist with implementing weekly lesson plans

· Share ideas in planning a daily schedule

· Maintain communication with families

· Clean and sanitize classroom in accordance to Health Department and DHS guidelines

· Frequently lift, move or hold children with a range of weight from 10-40 pounds

Trinity Academy offers competitive compensation packages which include a starting wage of $12.00-$15.00 (based on experience and education) and a 50% tuition benefit for children.
