Job Description:

As a Senior Care Nurse at Ahava Senior Care, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nursing care to our senior residents. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of our seniors. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled nurse who is dedicated to improving the lives of the elderly through expert nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health and create individualized care plans. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide nursing care as needed.

Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Support residents with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, maintain accurate medication records, and educate residents and their families on medication management.

Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for our residents.

Health Education: Provide health education to residents and their families on various health conditions, preventive measures, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including resident charts, care plans, and incident reports.

Support and Comfort: Offer emotional support, companionship, and a caring presence to residents, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.

Safety and Infection Control: Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.

Continuous Learning: Stay current with best practices and updates in senior care nursing, attending training sessions and workshops as required.

Qualifications:

Valid nursing license in the state of Michigan.

Previous experience in senior care or a related field is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Proficient in medication administration and patient assessment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of senior care.
