Social Speech is a pediatric speech, occupational & ABA therapy clinic in West Bloomfield, MI.
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction
- Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions
Skills:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and strategies
- Ability to effectively collect and record data on client progress
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
