Job description

  • Global Fueling Systems Inc. is looking for an Inside Sales Support Representative in Long Island, New York.
  • Full-time
  • 40 hours per week

Join us and learn how to provide preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations at vehicle fueling facilities.

We perform work at various types of fueling facilities:

  • Retail sites (service stations and convenience stores)
  • Private customers (trucking companies, marinas)
  • Municipal customers (schools, government facilities, fire departments)

Fuel system components include, but are not limited to:

  • Fuel dispensers
  • Pumps
  • Controllers
  • Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Printers
  • Fuel Management Systems
  • Sensors
  • Alarm systems
  • Programming
  • Probes
  • Tanks and Tank Hardware
  • Filters
  • Tank level monitors
  • Leak detection equipment
  • Valves
  • Piping and Fluid conveying systems
  • Meters & Registers
  • Various electrical and mechanical equipment

Do you have these SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years minimum experience working in a professional sales oriented environment
  • Proven experience in sales and business management, knowledge of the sales cycle, sales reporting, estimating and how to close deals in a professional manner
  • Sales experience with fueling systems parts and equipment; fuel dispensers; fuel hoses; fuel nozzles; fuel pumps; fuel tank gauges & alarms; fuel valves & fittings; fuel monitoring system; tank & line monitoring system; meter calibration; various other types of equipment in fueling facility preferred
  • Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills — verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Critical-thinker, problem-solver and attention to detail
  • Good memory skill
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office
  • Self-motivated, solution-orientated individual
  • Clean Driver’s License

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Sales Team to maintain and increase sales of fuel systems parts and equipment opportunities pipeline
  • Assist in answering sales calls/emails, addressing and resolving customer questions, and recommending the best parts and equipment to support their needs
  • Support to the Sales Team in quoting complex fueling systems parts and equipment (tank gauges, tanks, UST, dispensers, suction pumps, fuel management, etc.)
  • Prepare estimates and deliver quotations and proposals to customers and follow up to close deals in a timely manner
  • Work with manufactures to acquire pricing for estimates
  • Process and provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain sales-related databases and provide data and guidance to the Sales Team
  • Manage sales tracking tools and analyze sales trends
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer accounts
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Coordinate with operations personnel regarding updated parts and equipment and parts and equipment availability
  • Perform other duties assigned as assigned by the manager
