We are seeking a skilled and motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting with orthodontic procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Assist the orthodontist during dental procedures, including orthodontic adjustments, appliance placement, and removal

- Scanning and submitting cases electronically

- Brace ups, de-banding, banding, delivering retainers/night guards, and various oral appliances

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-treatment care instructions

- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Dental assisting experience, preferably in orthodontics

- X-ray certified, required

SCHEDULE:

Monday through Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
