**Job Summary:**
Cardiology group practice seeking PART-TIME registered Echo/Vascular Technologist to join our imaging team. The Echo/Vascular Technologist will be responsible for performing non-invasive vascular diagnostic tests to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disorders.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Candidates should have experience in performing transthoracic echos, carotids, and arterial & venous peripheral ultrasounds.
- Produce two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of heart and related structures, using ultrasound equipment, for use by physician in diagnosis of heart disease and study of heart
Calculate, measure, and document appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians
- Record and analyze test results for physician review and interpretation.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Usage of GE equipment and PACS system.
- Demonstrates ability to accurately use computer and printer system
- Have understanding of filing and reporting system
- Recognizes special needs/concerns of populations served and adjusts communication accordingly
- Minimum of 1 year of echocardiogram scanning experience required
