- Reading specifications and drawings.
- Quantifying structural components.
- Estimating costs for labor and material.
- Coordinating with contractors, field management, and vendors to establish costs.
- Aptitude for mathematics.
- Be able to analyze, compare and interpret detailed information.
- Make sound and accurate judgments.
- Be detail oriented, assertive, and self-confident in presenting and supporting conclusions.
- Have strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Be experienced in calculating labor and material costs.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel) required.
