We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Assistant Plant Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial reporting, business analysis, forecasting, material management, strategic planning, and implementing cost standards for materials and labor. The candidate must have a strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
- Implement cost standards for materials and labor
- Assist in month-end close and consolidation
- Analyze financial reports and provide business analysis to management
- Develop and maintain forecasting models
- Manage material inventory levels and optimize material management
- Develop and maintain strategic plans to improve financial performance
- Implement Lean Accounting and Six Sigma methodologies to improve process efficiency
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
- Train and mentor team members on accounting and financial analysis best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
- 3 years of experience in financial reporting, business analysis, and forecasting
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS compliance
- Experience with Infor-M3 ERP is a plus
- Knowledge of Lean Accounting and Six Sigma methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
