Uptown Children’s Academy Preschool is hiring! This job is not just about playing with children, it requires a lot of patients and consistency. Because of this, we are looking for the right candidate who can grow and become a part of our team. Our goal is to help children develop healthy social and emotional skills so they can easily transition into elementary school. The right candidate will be independent, reliable and open minded.

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
-Developmentally appropriate interactions with the children and conflict management
-Communicate with families
-Collaborating with other team members in order to implement curriculum
-Work with other team members to maintain a clean, healthy, welcoming classrooms
-Be flexible and able to adapt to different situations
-Be guidance focused instead of discipline focused

Hiring Requirements
-We are willing to train, so experience is preferred, but not required
-State / FBI background check
-TB Test / Health Assessment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
