Overview:

Join our team as a Retail Sales Associate where you will engage with customers, provide exceptional service, and drive sales in a dynamic retail environment. Duties:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Understand customer needs and recommend products or services
- Operate cash registers, credit card machines, and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and restroom
- Serve customers both in person and on the phone through effective communication and product knowledge
- Sell products that meets customers' needs
- Process shipments and restock merchandise

- Prepare daily sample tea for customer sampling

- Exercise a desire to better themselves by continuously educating on natural health knowledge through vendor offered webinars and research/reading on their own time

- Receive inventory

- Mix loose herbs (using a proprietary store recipe) for teas and syrups

- Answer customer inquiries through Facebook Messenger

- E-newsletter design/creation and social media posting productivity is a plus

- Able to be on your feet, moving, and assisting customers for 3-6 hour shifts

Skills:

- Experience in related natural health fields is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
- Knowledge of Retail Math for transactions and inventory management
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- A pleasant, always positive demeanor to assist customers

- Self-starter, self-motivated, trustworthy characteristics are required
- Organizational skills to maintain a tidy and appealing store environment

- Experience with QuickBooks Point of Sale, Dropbox, Constant Contact, Facebook, Instagram, Excel Spreadsheets, Word ~ is a plus, but not required

- Physically able to climb a step stool, be on your feet for a 6 hour shift, lift an occasional 20-30 lb box, and bend down to administer ionic foot detox bath (training will be given)
