Position Title : Assembler
Wage : $15 / hour
Shift : 1st
Hours : 6am-2 : 30pm Monday-Friday (occasional Saturday OT)
QPS Employment Group is hiring an Assembler for a company in Waukesha, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Strip wire, remove jacket from cable, crimp terminals, insert terminals into connectors, tie wrapping, some soldering of wires
- General assembly to customersÂ’ drawings and internal work instructions
- Build a first article while developing the assembly instruction and photographing each step
Assembler Requirements :
- High school diploma / GED equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in related work or Associate Degree
- Ability to read a ruler, count accurately, and distinguish colors
- Ability to harness and / or read prints is a plus
- Ability to read a schematic is helpful
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude is helpful
- Ability to work in a group and work independently
- Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs
- May stand and bend for extended lengths of time
- Ability to read a ruler and count accurately
- Attention to detail
