Swim Instructor
Duties:
- Provide swim instruction to individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement lesson plans based on the needs and abilities of each swimmer
- Teach proper swimming techniques, including strokes, breathing, and water safety
- Assess and evaluate swimmers' progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and certifications
Requirements:
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
- Previous experience as a swim instructor or lifeguard preferred
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with individuals of all ages and skill levels
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for working with children
- Experience in other sports or physical education (e.g., martial arts, cheerleading, basketball) is a plus
