Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is an independent, non-profit rural healthcare system serving 10 counties in northeastern South Dakota and west-central Minnesota.
Job SummaryThis full-time position will perform maintenance duties for the upkeep of the physical plant.
Responsibilities include:
  • Performs preventive maintenance on equipment, structure, and building systems.
  • Performs repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration components and systems.
  • Makes security rounds as appropriate.
  • Performs grounds keeping and snow removal tasks.
  • Follows safety and infection control practices in the execution of duties.
  • Participates in hospital wide functions such as fire response, emergency management, etc.
  • Performs construction tasks as assigned.
  • Weekly rotating call, approximately every seven weeks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
