Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced RN (Registered Nurse) to fill an opening located in Watertown NY for $69.28 Hourly Blended

• 13 weeks
• Night 12 hours
• 7 PM-7.30 AM
• 36 hrs wk= $2494 gross/wk

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Progressive Care Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Progressive Care Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients who require continuous monitoring and advanced medical interventions. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being and recovery of our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and oxygen levels
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care

-Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate.
- Ensure adherence to medical office standards, including infection control protocols

Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of NY
- BLS,ACLS,PALS,IV and IV contrast certification required.
- Coronary care course or successful completion of challenge exam within orientation period.
-Basic lethal dysrhythmia within six months of employment., and NIHSS certification within the first 6 months of employment.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current critical care experience preferred.
- Traveler must have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment. New travelers will not be considered.
-Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, ability to provide quality patient care and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.

-Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts or move patients in a safe manner.
