NESCO Resource is Hiring a Quality Assurance Technician Near Waterbury, CT

Nesco Resource is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician in Waterbury, CT. This is a direct placement for the right candidate.
ScheduleMonday- Thursday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM. There is a rotating schedule where one employee will cover on Friday afternoon's every 3-4 weeks.
Pay: $23.00-$26.00/hour depending on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Select, issue, & calibrate gages
  • Create inspection plans & reports
  • Implement processes to assure product quality
  • Compile & analyze statistical data
  • Advise others on technical matters
  • Document inspection findings on reports & records
  • Communicate with others on technical matters
  • Inspect small precision parts for visual, dimensional, & functional requirements
  • Instruct other employees in quality subjects
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of gauging equipment & techniques
  • Proficiency using various precision measuring instruments
  • Experience reading & interpreting technical drawings (including GD&T)
  • Ability to follow test procedures & work instructions
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Promote process Improvement
  • Analytical skills
  • Written & verbal communication on technical matters
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, & Outlook
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must be organized and thorough
  • Ability to work independently & with others
  • Able to develop & maintain good interpersonal relationships
  • Desire for excellence
  • Must be reliable and responsible
