Summary Of Client's Description Of Paraprofessional Opportunity
- Work with students who demonstrate behavioral challenges
- Classroom management and material development
- Assist teacher in the classroom as needed
- Track student progress throughout the day, sometimes with the use of charts or graphics
- Empower students with strategies that enhance their strengths
- Provide an encouraging and supportive presence to students
- Minimum of an Associate's degree OR 60 College Credits OR a ParaPro Certificate
- Comfortable supporting children with behavior challenges and/or have special needs including autism or medical fragility
- Must pass Fingerprint background check and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse, Act 16-67, and Criminal
- Work with one of the nation's largest behavioral health referral agencies
- Flexible schedule as a Contractor. Choose assignments that best fit your schedule.
- Availability of 40-hour work week schedule.
- Ability to grow professionally
