AXIS Management Group is Hiring a Project Manager Near Washington, WA

Manage and support cybersecurity enterprise operational activities (vulnerability management, penetration testing, SIEM, security engineering) to achieve program goals and objectives within budget and on schedule. Perform project planning and reporting, system requirements analysis, and delivery management. Monitor and control performance and manage risk. Monitor and control quality on project deliverables. Provide regular written and oral performance status reports for supported projects to government stakeholders.

Required Skills

Full knowledge and experience of project lifecycle processes, integration efforts, and overseeing task completion and deliverable timeframes.

Knowledge of cybersecurity operational activities such as vulnerability management, penetration testing, and SIEM.

Demonstrated excellence in writing and communications skills.

Job Duties

Serve as the primary point of contact with the Federal agency to ensure compliance with all contract requirements and the work to be performed.

Manage tasks, schedule, and resources to ensure timely deliverables.

Provide overall technical leadership to project staff with technical directions, recommendations, and advice as needed.

Monitor and control project performance and risk.

Ensure in-scope tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in scope.

Meet regularly with government officials regarding project status, progress, and issues. Facilitate meetings and provide project status updates in both written and oral form as needed.

Experience and Education Qualifications

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an information technology Project Manager with a focus on cybersecurity operations.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university registered with the Department of Education.

PMP certification desirable. Security-related certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) desirable.

Work Location

100% remote supporting a Federal Government client.

Security Clearance Requirements

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance required.
