Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a night shift Maintenance Technician. Our night shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:18pm to 2:18am with a paid half hour dinner break and a 15% shift premium. Our technicians apply methods, best practices, and procedures in preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnostics and repair, of buildings, utilities, equipment and machinery.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- The ability to read and interpret diagrams, sketches, controls schematics, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and repairs throughout the facility.
- Accurately record the maintenance performed in our systems.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
- Clean equipment when required.
- Solid PLC knowledge.
- Proficiency in working with industrial electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Read and understand work order requirements.
- Must be able to obtain forklift and genie boom certification and operate safely
- Observe safety requirements and use all required safety equipment.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Perform other duties, as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.
- 2 years CNC maintenance experience.
- Solid experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repairs on CNC equipment, including realignment and adjustments.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Good Communication skills.
- Safety conscious and able to make safe decisions.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Able to form and execute a plan.
- Mechanically astute and able to recognize and think through problems.
- Must exhibit attention to detail.
- Must have ability to handle stressful situations.
- Must be able to listen and follow direction.
- Must be comfortable working with high voltages.
- Understanding of advanced machine maintenance plans
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
- May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds
