R&E Automated is Hiring an EDI Specialist Near Washington, MI
Responsible for overseeing the electronic data interchange system and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess system efficiency. Work closely with the MP&L department to ensure seamless and efficient transaction processing.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all EDI-related activities.
- Monitor EDI systems to ensure reliability and integrity of data transmission.
- Analyze and resolve EDI transaction issues and improve processes to prevent reoccurrences.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure compliance with EDI standards and requirements.
- Maintain updated documentation of EDI system processes and statuses.
- Train / Support team members and end-users on EDI transaction handling.
- Design and generate reports to track production KPIs using SQL queries to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent in experience
- Proven experience as an EDI specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of EDI standards (such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.) and protocols (like AS2, FTP, sFTP, OFTP).
- Experience with EDI software and mapping tools.
- Proficient in SQL and familiar with SQL database management.
- Knowledge of Business Analytics (BI) to support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Sage, Oracle, or others.
- Experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in .NET and C# programming languages.
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and analytics.
