Job Summary:

To maintain work order system and spare parts inventory, assuring the flow of work assignments and require materials/parts are available and fit to use.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Reviews received work requests, visit the job site for clarification and consults with the requesters for clarification.
• Identifies and orders the stock materials/parts required.
• Identifies and orders any non-stock material/parts required.
• Maintain critical spare part inventory.
• Ensures all required resources are available before the work is schedule.
• Schedule and plan maintenance work activities.
• Track the work order to completion.
• Work close with Engineering to establish and monitor preventive maintenance programs.
• Interface with vendors and contractors.
• Receives material/parts.
• Returns materials and parts not fit to use.
• Transact shipping of equipment to specialize contractors for rebuild or repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Broad based knowledge and experience in facility operations and maintenance, facility systems sustainment, and work management is required.
• Problem Solving/Analysis.
• Project Management.
• Proficient with computers, especially MS Office applications.
• Ten years manufacturing experience with progressive increase in responsibility required.
• Must be familiar with Lean concepts, tools and applications.
• Strong mechanical background
• Ability to read blueprints and equipment schematics
• Familiarity with use wide variety of hand, power and machine shop tools (Lathes, Milling and Grinder)
• Familiar with mechanical drive systems

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field.
