Role Overview: As an FPGA Design Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and optimizing FPGA designs for our next-generation satellite systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and verify FPGA solutions using VHDL, Xilinx, and Vivado.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems.
• Optimize FPGA designs for performance, power, and area.
• Troubleshoot and debug FPGA-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Active clearance or ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
• 2 years in FPGA design, development, and implementation.
• Strong experience with VHDL and Xilinx tools (Vivado, ISE).
• Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) and communication protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, etc.).
• Experience with PetaLinux or Yocto
• Knowledge of embedded software development, including programming languages such as C/C or Python
