Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Counselor. The Counselor will be responsible for providing counseling services to patients with mental illness. The day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual counseling, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Licensure or certification as a professional counselor, social worker, or similar credential
- Experience in providing counseling services to individuals with mental illness
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in outpatient behavioral health setting is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Bilingual Russian is a plus
