Responsible for distributing linen throughout the hospital and satellite locations, while complying with quality service and safety standards established by the hospital and the department.

Maintains a positive working relationship with other departments and managers.

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Six (6) months experience in hospital, hotel or adolescent care laundry required.

Work completed in a ventilated, heated / cooled laundry environment. Involves standing, walking and bending. Must be able to lift 50 pounds close to body and 25 pounds away from body.

Subject to exposure to communicable disease and infectious waste. Must possess the ability to read and communicate the English language.

Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy in stressful situations. Must be able to work irregular schedules, holidays, and weekends.

Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
