Kanzaki Specialty Papers, located in Ware, MA, is a world leader in specialty coated materials and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oji Holdings Co., Ltd., one of the largest paper companies in the world. Kanzaki is looking for a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Foreman to join our team.

This position will oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing area, ensuring that production schedules are met efficiently and safely. The role involves supervising a team of workers, monitoring and operating equipment, enforcing safety protocols, and improving production processes. Duties include:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of manufacturing team.
• Monitor and manage production workflow to ensure quality of product, optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and preventative maintenance with Maintenance & Engineering team as needed.
• Maintain equipment and machinery, coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Oversee training and mentoring of production staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, employee schedules, and records.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and work to implement changes.
• Filling in on machines where needed to sustain operations, including the operation of tow motors and hoists.
• Other similar duties primarily those pertaining to the operation of production equipment.

Duties require visual attention to machine operation and controls and physical properties of product; manual coordination and dexterity to operate machinery; walking around machinery and climbing stairs; management and leadership of production employees; enforcement of KSP safety and personnel policies; good verbal and written communication ability; familiarity with computers including a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
