Neave Group is Hiring a Turf Technician (Landscaping) Near Wappingers Falls, NY
Join the team at Neave Group Outdoor Solutions as a Turf Technician. We are a dedicated group of professionals based in Wappingers Falls, NY, committed to providing exceptional outdoor solutions. This is a full-time, year-round position with a regular schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, and occasional Saturdays. Off-season duties include Snow Removal and Holiday Decor. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Perform inspections of lawn, tree, and/or shrubs on commercial and residential properties
- Make recommendations for care and maintenance
- Safely utilize and/or apply products and materials
- Keep accurate treatment records
- Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
- Perform a wide range of landscape maintenance practices
- Use hand tools, small equipment, and heavy equipment as needed
- Perform Commercial Snow Removal and/or Holiday Decor operations in the winter
Qualifications
- Willingness to train, prior experience is a plus
- Ability to obtain a NY Pesticide Operator’s License, current valid license a plus
- Valid Driver’s License
- Professional Appearance
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Advanced problem-solving skills and proven time management
- Able and willing to work in various weather conditions
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Bi-Lingual – Spanish is a plus!
Compensation
The pay for this position ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, with available overtime.
