USD 320 Wamego is accepting applications for a Building Aide position at Central Elementary School. Duties will include assisting classroom teachers with secretarial tasks, projects, and working with small groups of children, supervising large groups of children during lunch and recess, providing back-up assistance in the office as needed, and other duties as assigned by the building principal. Knowledge of current Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel is preferred. Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and good phone skills are essential. The ability to multi-task is a must. Hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break. Starting wage is $10.84 per hour. This position will work all days students are in session during the school year.
