Fisher Auto Parts is Hiring an Equipment operator 2nd Near Walton, KY

Key Responsibilities :

Safely operates equipment to stock, fulfill and move products in an efficient manner.

Essential Functions :

Safely and efficiently operate all power equipment including : forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and pallet jacks

Complete all documentation required for proper operation of equipment including : pre-trip inspections, post-trip inspections, and maintenance requests

Maintaining inventory control and accuracy through processes and systems set forth by the company

Receive inventory, stock shelves, pick orders, package orders and ship orders

Check and restock merchandise, inventory, inspect for damage, and verify bin contents

Maintain work areas by keeping areas clean, neat and orderly

Knowledge, Skills, Duties and Abilities :

Able to perform tasks accurately

Must be detail-oriented

Self-motivated and customer service driven attitude

Able to stay organized and on task

Able to use scanners in conjunction with the WMS system

Check and restock inventory, inspect for damage, and verify counts

Meet and maintain accuracy and production goals

Timely pulling and downstocking of replenishments

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Ability to work effectively within a diverse population and workforce both individually and as part of a team

Completion of maintenance sheets, daily maintenance of inventory, and report discrepancies to supervisor

Comply with federal, state, local, OSHA, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

Perform other duties and / or work in other departments of work location as assigned

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT :

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred;
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment drug test;
  • Wear appropriate footwear protection and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Company policy;

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT :

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted;
  • Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, squat, and stoop;

Also required to climb, push / pull, balance, crouch or crawl, talk, speak, and hear.

Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

May be occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and / or vehicles, high / precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, various degrees of cold and heat, risk of electrical shock, items of bulky or varying weight, risk of explosion, and / or vibration.

Noise level may be moderate to heavy.

Must have considerable mobility, and be able to stand and / or sit for long durations of time.
