Akkodis is seeking a Quality Manager for a Direct Hire job with a client in Walker, MI 49505 . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in Manufacturing, Quality, MES, SPC, ERP systems, ISO 9001 would be a big plus.

Salary Range: 105k-120k/Annum ; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Work Experience : 5 years of demonstrated work experience in a manufacturing Quality department, experience with quality systems tools, databases, and statistical process controls, ability to mentor, facilitate, and lead problem solving methodology (5 whys, 8D, or A3). Experience with Measurement Systems Analysis and Process Control; Project management skills, with the ability to deliver complex problem solutions, and previous supervision experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
• Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Engineer, Quality Engineering
• Computer Skills: Experience with ERP systems, intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Organization Skills: Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
• Cross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally with multiple peers and groups; provides excellent internal and external customer service
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization; strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information

Preferred Requirements:

• Work Experience : 7 years of experience in a manufacturing Quality department, proficient with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Manufacturing Execution System (MES) architecture design and alignment to operations requirements and 3 years of experience leading a team
• Education: Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Manager and/or Certified Quality Engineer, Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
• Computer Skills: Oracle, Advanced SPC
