Job Overview:

Friends Bar & Restaurant is a small locally owned Bar and Restaurant.
We are seeking a skilled Server/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a friendly demeanor, and work as a part of a team.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact and greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment (adhere to cleaning lists, bussing, pre-bussing etc.)
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register & POS System
- Upsell drinks and promote special events or promotions

- Ability to make it to work on time

Experience:
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of Basic Math, Sales, Toast POS, Cash handling, Cash register, and Customer service
- Familiarity with various types of alcoholic beverages and cocktail recipes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure during busy hours

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
