RIDGEVIEW MEDICAL CENTER is Hiring an Ultrasound Tech Near Waconia, MN
This is a casual position.
Job Functions
- Interacts with patients, providers and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
- Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic ultrasounds.
- Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
- Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
- Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Work Experience/License/Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography
- RDMS board registered
- Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation
- CPR Certified
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on sonograms.
- Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team.
- Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations.
- Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above.
