Your role at Kay Jewelers:

As a part of our Sales Team you are responsible for providing a superior experience to our valued customers. In addition, you will:

• Attains personal sales goals by developing selling skills through Company training programs.
• Achieves sales goal by maintaining a daily focus on standards achievement.
• Make an active, assertive effort to sell the guest. Seeks to identify and sell according to the guest’s needs and buying potential. Works the leaseline and payment counter in an effort to solicit sales. Participates in guest calling on a regular basis.
• Performs guest outreach as required.
• Develops a complete knowledge of the merchandise. Learns the features and benefits through sales meetings, trade magazines and independent study. Completes the Diamontology course.
• Develops guest service skills to provide quality service to the guest, thus assuring repeat sales.
• Handles guest complaints quickly, efficiently and courteously.
• Develops a full understanding of Company sales and credit policies and procedures.
• Follows all Company directives, policies and procedures.
• Monitors and maintains the saleability of the merchandise (i.e., that it is ticketed properly, clean and attractively displayed).
• Carefully and accurately estimates costs on jewelry and watch repairs. Provides minor repair service as necessary.
• Maintains the appearance of the sales floor and display areas. Keeps showcases, windows, back rooms and understock clean and orderly.
• Conducts himself/herself in a manner that will merit the goodwill and respect of guests and fellow Team Members. Consistently maintains a neat, professional appearance in keeping with the established Dress Code Policy.
• Engage customers in conversation to understand their needs and desires
• Ability to present merchandise and share detailed information regarding features and benefits of products
• Provide information regarding extended service plans and financing options
• Meet individual and team sales goals
