Description
The Technician is a member of the Pharmacy Department team and assists the professional staff in processing and delivering drug orders and medications, and is under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy.
Responsibilities :
- Accountable and responsible for entering physician’s orders, processing, and delivering medications, and maintain a working inventory of medications and supplies.
- Demonstrates competency and completes all technical skills and patient care procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Pharmacy Technician Skills & Responsibilities.
- Accurately reports information to members of the Pharmacy Department team and other members of Washington Health System.
Shift : Primarily 3PM-11PM & 10PM-6AM, but can be scheduled 6AM-2PM, 6 : 30AM-2 : 30PM, 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, 10AM-6PM, and 11AM-7PM.
Must be able to work all shifts / day including weekends and holidays. This position will mostly work weekends.
