STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile account balances and bank statements
• Maintain the general ledger and perform month-end close procedures
• Calculate and analyze prepaid and accrued expenses
• Prepare and manage debt schedules, including amortization updates
• Prepare quarterly debt compliance and ad hoc reports for lenders
• Enter lease information into accounting software and manage lease financial compliance
• Perform financial forecasting and variance analysis
• Prepare monthly sales tax filings and year-end financial reports
• Track property assessments and taxes, assisting with appeals
• Prepare annual property operating budgets
• Provide documentation for external auditors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required
• 3 years of experience in Accounting
• Yardi Software experience is preferred
• Experience in Real Estate industry is preferred
