Are you a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with a passion for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing dialysis? We are looking for compassionate professionals to join our team, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients in Victorville and Barstow.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer Dialysis Treatments: Ensure that hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments are administered correctly to patients.
Monitor Patients: Observe and monitor patients during dialysis treatments to identify any adverse reactions or complications.
Nursing Care Plans: Prepare and update comprehensive nursing care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Medical Communication: Promptly notify the appropriate medical practitioner of any issues or problems that arise during dialysis treatments.
Equipment Management: Collaborate with dialysis technicians to ensure dialysis machines and equipment are set up correctly and functioning properly.
Patient Education: Teach patients and their family members how to operate home dialysis machines for those opting for home dialysis therapy.
Health Education: Educate patients on dialysis treatment options, kidney disease management, and suitable nutrition and exercise regimens.
Work Schedule:
12 Hour Shifts: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Overtime Pay: Time and a half after 8 hours
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) License: Valid and current RN license in the state of California.
