Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your role will involve engaging children in educational activities, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their social and emotional development. Duties: - Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate cognitive, physical, and social development - Create a structured and supportive environment that encourages positive behavior - Foster a love of learning by incorporating educational elements into daily routines - Maintain open communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and any concerns that may arise - Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure smooth operation of the childcare facility - Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation procedures - Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed - Change diapers and assist with toilet training when necessary Requirements: - Previous experience in childcare, such as daycare, nannying, or babysitting - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices - Strong classroom management skills to effectively engage and guide children - Ability to educate and support children with special needs or learning disabilities is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level - CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required At our childcare facility, we offer competitive pay rates based on experience and qualifications.
