**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist with at least 5 years of ophthalmology billing experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, coding, and collections. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Review and verify accuracy of billing and coding

- Submit claims to insurance companies

- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable

- Process payments from insurance companies and patients

- Resolve billing discrepancies

- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in medical records management

- Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG coding systems

- Familiarity with medical terminology

- Experience in medical billing and collections

- Ability to navigate billing software systems efficiently

This role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of medical billing processes, coding systems, and collection practices. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
