Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking a highly-organized professional to coordinate efforts with key contract manufacturing partners assembling complex electrical and mechanical assemblies. This role is responsible for coordinating solutions amongst cross-functional teams and driving actions through to completion with a sense of urgency. Communication, teamwork, and risk/opportunity-based critical thinking are key to success in this position. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for tracking and managing all aspects of the production and supply at key contract manufacturing suppliers’ off-site locations. This position will be required to ensure program goals are being reached through close coordination with internal functions and external suppliers. Specific responsibilities may include:

• Collaborate with external contract manufacturers and cross functional internal teams including Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering when opportunities arise and technical support/follow up is required
• Provide updates to stakeholders to ensure all are aware of ongoing initiatives and projects within the contract manufacturing supply chain
• Provide technical information to suppliers to support investigations and partner with Quality
• Hold business reviews with suppliers on a regular schedule to ensure alignment on items such as quality, forecast, projects, and capacity
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multi-level personnel as well as suppliers and their representatives
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deal with changing priorities while maintaining personal effectiveness
• Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field
• Computer proficiency and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail
• Highly self-motivated in order to drive projects forward, with strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines
• Strong attention-to-detail with strong planning and organizational skills
• Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI
• Ability to travel as required (<10%)

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with contract management and negotiations
• Understanding of electrical components and manufacturing assembly process
• Certification or knowledge / understanding of IPC Standards
• Previous experience with Odoo or other ERP systems
• Prior experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Ability to multi-task and be comfortable in a technical environment
• Ability to exercise a high degree of judgment and leadership
